Racing Vehicles

The GM Performance Division's Racing activities center around competing with production-based vehicles or powertrains. Currently, these activities include road racing the Cadillac CTSv and Chevrolet Cobalt and land speed racing the Chevy Cobalt and HHR, among other activities. The GM Performance engineers and technicians that create our performance production vehicles are directly involved with our racing activities to learn how to thrive under the timeline and on-track rigors of real-world racetrack competition. We believe it makes our production vehicles better and enjoy the challenge!
