The new GM Performance Parts SuperMatic 4L70-E transmission is a specifically constructed unit that provides a stout transmission for your street machine or hot rod. The transmission is fully engineered to provide greater torque carrying capacity and increased durability. These transmissions are built using the highest quality OEM parts. They include a 13 vane pump with a heat treated stator support, five pinion input and reaction carriers, high performance 2/4 servo, heat treated sun shell and a heavy-duty low roller clutch assembly. To further increase the performance and long term durability we upgraded the 3-4 clutch pack and installed a high energy 2-4 Band. Power loss is diminished with the use of a needle bearing assemblies and associated components that replace standard thrust washers. Finally we incorporated special valve body enhancements that provide shifts that are firm and quick yet not too aggressive to be objectionable at light throttle. GM Performance Parts is offering this part kit that includes two large ducts and replacement rotor shields to redirect outside air from the front of the vehicle to the brakes in order to better cool them under heavy or performance use.

During competitive driving, the front brake ducts work in conjunction with specific brake rotor shields to reduce front brake pad operating temperatures up to 20 deg. C (68 deg. F) and front brake rotor surface temperatures up to 60 deg. C (140 deg. F). The added cooling reduces pad wear, promotes better brake pedal feel, and increases brake fade resistance.

These shocks have revised valving developed on one of Europe's most renowned road courses. This valving was developed with the enthusiast in mind to give exceptional road handling performance, however, a harsher ride will result.
